College Admission Essays
Complimentary 15-Minute Consultation - In this phone call or zoom meeting with the prospective client(parent and/or student) we can assess the student's needs and determine which offering is the best fit.
In a Nutshell: The College Essay Process $100 - 60-minute coaching session where the student and I will sit down (in person or online) and discuss the college essay process. Session provides an introduction to brainstorming, Common Application and Coalition Application 2025 writing prompts, guiding principles and a framework for developing the essay. If you are interested in continued collaboration, we can schedule more time together for an hourly rate, described below, or you can sign up for my Comprehensive Essay Package (payment for this workshop will be applied to cost of essay package).
Coaching, Editing & Collaborating $65/hour - I provide one-on-one coaching through the essay development process. We work together - in person, on phone or zoom and emails - to ensure you have every reason to feel confident that your essay reflects your unique voice. This rate is hourly, and can be pro-rated to 15-minute increments for time spent on and offline.
On-Demand College Essay Review (asynchronous) $60 - Whether it’s your first college essay draft or your final draft, submit your essay and I will provide detailed, in-line feedback and a summary that contains actionable advice to help you further develop your ideas or finalize your piece. There is no word requirement; whether you are drafting a short answer response or longer essay, the price is the same. This review is available for scholarship essays as well as for short-answer responses and personal statements.
Comprehensive Essay Package $600 - package includes up to 10 hours of college essay coaching, customized for you. This coaching begins at whatever starting point you would like -- brainstorming, your roadmap or first draft -- and continues until you are ready to submit your essay. We work together, in person, online and through emails, to ensure you have every reason to feel confident that your essay reflects your unique voice.
Editorial Coaching
Editorial Coaching $65/hour - for students, entrepreneurs, business executives.
The possibilities are endless We can collaborate on everything from email drafts,
research projects and essays to speeches, elevator pitches and self-performance
reviews.
Freelance writing and editing (academic, corporate, creative) fees are not
